Cindy Janssens (°2003, Maastricht, Netherlands) is an artist who primarily works with found objects, and installations.  
By taking beach combing as subject matter while commenting on an everyday technological society, her installations establish a link between an ecological reality and that of a world in hyper evolution. A world of over-production, consuming resulting in mountains of waste. By applying a poetic and often metaphorical language, she wants to create compositions or settings that generate images that leave traces and balances on the edge of recognition and alienation. They are characterised by the use of found objects in an atmosphere of bohemian mentality in which interpretation plays an important role. 
The other part of her work ( crap[eye] ) plays in the field of programmers, and hackers in which technology and nature meet, context changes, past and present fuse. Time and memory always play a key role.
