ref: MADE IN LUXEMBOURG - Fashion since, 2020, For Made in Luxembourg, Various Artists purchased this “made in low wage countries” garments in a Fast Fashion Store. They were undone/unstitched and then sewn together again by hand. During the production Various Artists literally followed the (sewing) steps of the underpaid anonymous worker who assembled the product. For this work they were paid at the same rate as the textile worker.
