Money River.72.000.002.214.018,80 is an installation by Various Artists & various artists that presents a series of works that examine the financial status of artists in a world that seems to ignore their role in society.

Since 2005 Various Artists has been making artworks that expose and play with (financial) value systems. From punitive rules written by children, cut up banknotes, unscratched lottery tickets, to personal loans, Money River represents a collection of conceptual and visual works of art that are made in this context. The installation proposes an alternative financial system for the future that parasitises the existing economies we know and breaks them from the inside with poetic logic.

Each Money River installation presents a different configuration of works, in collaboration with various artists.
